🕋 Step-by-Step Guide to Performing Haj
Hajj is a once-in-a-lifetime obligation for every able Muslim. This step-by-step guide offers a detailed breakdown of the Hajj journey — from entering Ihram to the Farewell Tawaf — helping pilgrims fulfill every ritual correctly and spiritually.
📅 Day-Wise Guide
🗓️ 8th Dhul-Hijjah – Yawm al-Tarwiyah
- Wear Ihram and make the intention for Hajj.
- Travel to Mina in the morning.
- Perform Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha in Mina.
- Engage in continuous Ibadah.
🗓️ 9th Dhul-Hijjah – Yawm ‘Arafah
- Pray Fajr in Mina, travel to Arafah after sunrise.
- Stay at Arafah until sunset, perform Wuquf.
- Recite Talbiyah, make heartfelt duas.
- After sunset, proceed to Muzdalifah.
- Combine Maghrib & Isha at Muzdalifah.
🗓️ 10th Dhul-Hijjah – Yawm an-Nahr
- Pray Fajr in Muzdalifah and proceed to Mina.
- Stone Jamaratul-‘Aqabah (7 pebbles).
- Perform Udhiya (sacrifice).
- Shave (Men) or trim hair (Women).
- Perform Tawaaful-Ifaadhah in Makkah.
- Sa’ee between Safa and Marwah.
🗓️ 11th & 12th Dhul-Hijjah
- Return to Mina.
- Stone all three Jamarat (7 pebbles each).
- Make dua after stoning the first and second Jamarat.
- On the 12th, return to Makkah before sunset if leaving early.
🗓️ 13th Dhul-Hijjah (Optional)
- If still in Mina, stone all three Jamarat once more.
- Depart for Makkah.
🕋 Final Step: Tawaaful-Wadaa (Farewell Tawaf)
Before leaving Makkah, perform the farewell Tawaf — your last act in the holy city.

Pilgrims using the metro must follow the designated color-coded stations:
- Blue: Mina 1, Arafah 1, Muzdalifah 1
- Yellow: Mina 2, Arafah 2, Muzdalifah 2
- Green: Jamarat, Arafat 3, Muzdalifah 3
